SQL Server Performance Engineer

Currently, we are in search of a skilled SQL Server Performance Engineer to join our team for a new project.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Analyzing SQL Server performance in production and test environments;
- Investigating concurrency issues and recommending tuning strategies;
- Monitoring SQL Server health, including deadlocks, wait stats, and long-running queries;
- Assisting in benchmarking and load testing to simulate large-scale workloads;
- Collaborating with senior architects and developers to design and implement improvements;
- Documenting findings and performance baselines for future analysis;
- Helping automate monitoring and alerting tools in the cloud.
APPLY FOR THE JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- Over 4 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in roles such as developer, DBA, or analyst;
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL, execution plans, and query performance tuning;
- Familiarity with cloud database platforms like Azure SQL or Amazon RDS;
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
WILL BE CONSIDERED A PLUS:
- Experience with data and analytical cloud platform solutions;
- Knowledge of tools and techniques for analyzing SQL solution performance;
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams;
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performing team.
