At Diatom, we tend to pay attention to the culture of social responsibility. We are glad to help Public Organizations and by doing that to contribute to their development. And such a mindset adds additional value to our everyday work. Although we do not usually announce such activities publicly, this time we would like to share a letter from our friends from the Latvian Society of the Blind since it contains a very strong and powerful message. As the general truth says, “together we can do more”.
Translation of the letter:
“Latvian Society of the Blind would like to thank Diatom Enterprises and commend its highly developed social responsibility. Working together, we make the daily life of people with visual disabilities lighter. With Diatom Enterprise’s help, we give the opportunity to all talented people – choir, ensemble, dance and theatre collectives and the brass orchestra participants to improve themselves and perform in the Strazdumuižas Centre, as well as ensure collective participation in the different activities and in shows of national level.”
