The Beginning
In 2004, Denis Gorshkov founded Diatom Enterprises in Canada with one clear principle, one we still follow today:
“Hire only seasoned professionals and let them do their jobs.”

From Canada to Europe
A few years later, Diatom moved its headquarters to Latvia — a European Union country with stable regulation, transparent legal environment, and access to a strong developer talent pool across the continent.

Today, Diatom has 80+ in-house engineers. Every person at the company, from a developer to a board member, has a technical background.
Over 90% of our clients are based in North America, and most partnerships with us last for years. We adapt to every team’s work culture and communication style, wherever they are.
