Diatom Enterprises has been providing software development services to logistics companies since 1995. This project for Begoma, a family-owned logistics company headquartered in Malmo, Sweden, demonstrates our expertise in delivering client-server desktop applications, web platforms, and mobile applications for logistics and freight operations across Europe.
Project Overview
Begoma needed a system capable of handling 20,000–30,000 orders per year, with fast search, filtering, and reporting functions. The system also had to automatically process invoices, allow simultaneous access for more than 20 dispatchers and financial specialists, and operate across multiple sites in Sweden and the Czech Republic. Diatom delivered a client-server desktop MVP.NET application and later extended to web and mobile solutions tailored to the client’s evolving requirements.
Over the years, collaboration with Begoma has automated daily routines, minimized human errors, increased transaction throughput, and significantly improved operational efficiency and profitability.
