At Diatom Enterprises, we believe that staying connected to the latest trends and innovations is essential for driving growth and delivering forward-thinking solutions to our clients. As a custom software development company, we value the opportunity to attend global events where technology meets creativity, where startups stand shoulder-to-shoulder with industry giants, and where partnerships are born from shared ideas.

MWC 25 Diatom Enterprises and Latvia

This March, Diatom Enterprises attended MWC 2025, the world’s largest and most influential connectivity event, held in Barcelona at the enormous Fira Gran Via venue. It was an incredible chance to build new connections, meet potential partners, and witness firsthand the future of technology.

First Impressions from the Ground

Representing Diatom Enterprises at MWC25 was Natalija Lemasova, who shared her vivid impressions and personal highlights from the event. According to Natalia, attending MWC25 felt like stepping into the future. As described on the event’s official website, it is “the largest and most influential connectivity event in the world”—and from her experience, that’s absolutely true.

MWC25 brought together companies from all over the globe—ranging from bold new startups to tech giants like Samsung, Huawei, Microsoft, and Xiaomi. The conference center itself, Fira Gran Via, spans 240,000 square meters, and walking through its vast halls was an experience in itself. But even that couldn’t compare to the excitement and creativity happening inside.

The very first exhibition hall was already stunning—comparable to walking through Times Square, thanks to the bright lights and colorful displays. Huawei’s stand, in particular, transformed part of the hall into a mini-city of technology and light. And there were still seven more halls to go.

A Few Highlights

Here are some of Natalija Lemasova’s personal observations from the event:

Asian tech companies were the clear standouts.
Their booths were not just informative—they were works of art. Stylish, bold, and interactive. Even mobile service advertisements looked like high-end visual experiences.

At Samsung’s booth, a robot dog casually walked across a floor made entirely of foldable Samsung phone displays. Xiaomi’s booth resembled a fully built smart home, showcasing phones, watches, earphones, teapots, vacuums, electric toothbrushes, pet fountains, security cameras—and even electric cars. Natalija admits: she fell in love with Xiaomi’s vehicles.

Technology brings people together.
Over 109,000 attendees gathered in one place, and despite the scale, the atmosphere was open and friendly. People from every corner of the globe chatted easily and shared ideas—reminding us that technology is a shared passion that crosses all borders.

Swag, food, and fun.
Every booth had something to offer—pens, mugs, snacks, QR-code games, even beer. Some visitors walked away with bags full of promotional gifts from all over the tech world. Between the exhibition halls, food tents served a mix of Spanish, Chinese, and Mexican cuisine, giving everyone a tasty break between tech talks. Innovation lives in Hall 8.

The final hall—called 4YFN (4 Years From Now)—was dedicated to startups and rising tech companies. It featured two floors of fresh ideas, pitches, networking, and a competition for the most promising startup. The energy in the air was unforgettable.
