.NET Developer

For this project, we are looking for a .NET Developer (fixed term) working in an in-office or hybrid model to join our team. The expectation is to fix current issues, upgrade the tech stack and gradually switch integrations from legacy systems to new ones.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Buy now, pay later (BNPL) platform deployed in Iceland;
• The product consists of several services (REST API, customer-facing part), and is integrating with several third-party systems (payment gateway and core banking);
• The project’s leading technologies are .NET 4.6.2, LINQ, REST API, and ASP.NET;
• 6+ months of contractual involvement expected, with a possible transfer to other Diatom Enterprises projects;
• In-office or hybrid working model.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Supporting the existing platform, as well as developing new upgrades and modules;
• Fixing issues related to third-party upgrades;
• Removing deprecated code and API endpoints;
• Performing library updates to close potential vulnerabilities;
• Improving maintainability of the solution (logging, monitoring);
• Increasing test coverage in critical places.

APPLY FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

• 3+ years of proven experience with the project’s stack;
• An opportunity to work on a hybrid working model from home and our office at Ieriku Street 3, Riga, LV-1084;
• Good command of the English language;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
